“What a great way to spend a Saturday morning, taking a paddleboard lesson with Tara. The Hudson is beautiful and the class is amazing. Tara is delightful and friendly and a skilled instructor. The class is relaxed and lots of fun. Tara provides excellent basic instruction that lets the students build confidence and feel supported, as they learn and practice new skills. She has an experienced eye and she is very observant, giving little tips as you paddle to help you develop good habits. And there’s always good conversation and laughs to be enjoyed by all.”

I had no idea how I’d end up in a yoga pose - but sure enough an hour later I was doing my warriors. She gave really clear instructions for how to progress with SUP and to boot she was a peaceful and motivating yoga instructor. Doing child’s poses and savasana on an anchored paddle board are sooo relaxing. My friends and I want to go again. I also was surprised at how much I enjoyed learning how to paddle. I am not saying that it is easy, because it was a great way to fire up those core muscles but the poses surprisingly lend themselves well to the practice on the board.
