SUP Pilates
Take your Pilates practice to the water! This unique class combines Pilates principles with the added challenge of balancing on an anchored paddleboard. Build core strength, improve balance and coordination, and enjoy a full-body workout surrounded by the beauty of nature. The movement of the water adds a fun & refreshing element to every class! Prior paddle &/or Pilates experience is helpful but not required, all levels are welcome. Includes instruction in basic paddle skills on land.

16 and older (unless approved in advance - contact Tara for age restrictions & guidelines)
Participants MUST be able to swim!
Safety is our first priority! Your instructor is a certified SUP Coach, trained in water safety and rescues, and first aid/CPR certified. All that's required from you is the ability to swim, but more importantly, to have fun!

Important Things to Know

We recommend light, quick-drying athletic clothing and/or swimsuits. Dress for the weather, layer if necessary.
PLEASE bring your own water - hydration is very important, especially on hot summer days!
sunscreen (day) / bug repellent (evening)
hat/sunglasses (make sure they are secure - we are not responsible for items that are lost in the water)
water shoes (optional)
towel & a change of clothes (keep in your car - just in case)
Your instructor will have a dry bag available to hold keys if needed. There are straps on the board to keep water bottles and shoes secure.

48-hr cancellation policy — due to limited class size, you must cancel your reservation at least 48-hrs in advance to reschedule or receive a refund*.
In the event of adverse weather and/or water conditions, Rivertowns SUP & Yoga will cancel the class and notify all registrants. In this case, registrants may reschedule to a different date.
*Credit Card processing fees are nonrefundable for client cancellations.
