Located on the Central Pacific Coast, this area combines the allure of rainforests, beaches, and astonishing wildlife sighting making it one of the most biodiverse areas in Costa Rica.  It is an extraordinary place with spectacular views. Whether you want to relax on white sandy beaches or trek through the jungles looking for wildlife, Manuel Antonio is sure to please all types of travelers.

We will be spending 9 days (8 nights) in Costa Rica with 8 days (7 nights) at our luxury accommodations in Manuel Antonio. The house is on a hillside surrounded by tropical plants with a beautiful ocean view, a pool, open communal areas, and is walking distance to local restaurants and shops. The house has space for 10 to 14 guests, including 4 private rooms with king beds (which can be shared). We will have our own private chef preparing delicious meals with fresh, local food. There will be daily excursions for water and movement adventures with our Sunshine Surf Retreat guide.

We will fly from the New York area to San Jose, Costa Rica. Once we land we will spend a night in a boutique hotel in San Jose. We will then travel about 3 to 4 hours (depending on traffic) to our house in Manuel Antonio.

Basics include activewear, a bathing suit, passport, a beach towel, water & sand-friendly shoes, shoes for hiking, and your sunscreen!

You will fly into Juan Santamaria International Airport, Alajuela Costa Rica (SJO). You will need a valid passport for this trip.
