No yoga or paddle experience necessary, all levels welcome. Our Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga classes start on shore with an overview of paddle basics - learn how to kneel, stand, basic stroke technique, turns, and what to do if you fall in. Then we launch and paddle for about ten minutes before anchoring down the boards and moving through a creative sequence of vinyasa flow and steady poses designed to warm and strengthen the body, stretch all your paddle muscles, and quiet and calm the mind. Each class ends with meditative relaxation on the water before paddling back to shore. Take in the fresh air and experience serenity outdoors on the water with this stimulating class designed to strengthen mind and body.

For comfort and ease of workout, we recommend light, quick-drying athletic clothing and/or swimsuits. Heavy cotton clothing is not recommended. Always wear sunscreen and a hat is recommended. Dress for the weather, layer if necessary. If you love your sunglasses, leave them on dry land unless you have them secured with a strap. Bring water, a towel, a change of clothes (just in case), and your sense of adventure.

Your instructor is a certified lifeguard and trained in first aid and water rescue to provide water safety. All that's required from you is the ability to swim, but more importantly, to have fun!
